About the client

9 Clouds is a travel and tourism agency based in Cairo that presents itself under the lowercase wordmark «nine clouds». Its customers are travellers who often pick a destination long before they speak to an agent, usually while browsing on their phones.

The challenge

Travel is bought on emotion and trust. A destination has to look desirable in a single glance, while the practical side of the offer, what is included and how to book, must stay easy to read. The agency wanted a visual language that felt like its own rather than borrowed stock layouts, and one that would stay consistent even when many offers are published in quick succession during busy seasons.
